Professional Installation, Wherever Your Coach Is.

Diamond Shield's nationwide network of certified mobile technicians installs paint protection film on RVs of all makes and models, at the factory, your dealership, or wherever you call home.

A Great Product Is Only as Good as the Install

PPF is only as effective as the hands that put it on. Applied incorrectly, the best film will lift, bubble, or fail early. That's why Diamond Shield doesn't just sell film. We stand behind every installation performed by our certified technicians.

Our installers are trained specifically for RV applications. That means they know how to handle the long flat panels, curved nose caps, body line transitions, and unique challenges that come with protecting a vehicle that can stretch 40 feet or more. It's a different job than wrapping a car and we treat it that way.

Three Ways to Get Diamond Shield Installed

Factory / OEM Installation

Diamond Shield partners directly with RV manufacturers to integrate PPF installation into the production process. Film is applied before the unit ever reaches a dealer, which means buyers get protection from day one, and manufacturers get a premium add-on that adds real value to the sale.

Our technicians are experienced in active production environments and work on your schedule without disrupting the line.

Dealer / Point-of-Sale Installation

Diamond Shield works with dealerships to offer PPF installation as a point-of-sale add-on. It’s applied before the customer picks up their rig, so they drive away protected from the start. We coordinate scheduling with your team and handle the installation from start to finish.

We help you offer a premium product your customers will appreciate for years with no extra lift on your end.

Mobile / On-Location Installation

Already own your RV and ready to add protection? Our certified mobile technicians travel to your location: home, dealership, campground, or RV event. You don't need to haul your rig to a shop. Tell us where you are and what you drive, and we'll handle the rest.

What to Expect From a Diamond Shield Installation

Step 1: Surface Assessment

Before any film goes on, our technician inspects your RV's painted surfaces. We're looking at paint condition, any existing damage, and the specific panels and coverage areas you want protected. This step ensures the film bonds correctly and looks right once it's on.

Step 2: Surface Preparation

The surface is cleaned and decontaminated, removing any wax, sealant, road film, or residue that would interfere with adhesion. This is one of the most important steps in a quality install and one of the most commonly skipped by less experienced installers.

Step 3: Precision Cutting

Diamond Shield uses pre-cut patterns specific to your RV's make and model for standard coverage areas. For custom areas or unique configurations, our technicians cut film on-site to fit. Either way, the result is clean, precise edges that follow your rig's body lines.

Step 4: Film Application

Film is applied panel by panel using Diamond Shield's installation process with proper heat, proper squeegee technique, and proper edge work.

Step 5: Final Inspection

Once the film is down, our technician does a full walkthrough with you, checking every panel, every edge, and every transition point. We don't walk away until the install meets Diamond Shield's standard.

Step 6: Cure Time

PPF needs time to fully cure after installation, typically 24 to 48 hours before washing. Your technician will walk you through care instructions and let you know what to avoid during the cure period.

What Makes a Diamond Shield Certified Technician?

Not all PPF installers are the same. Diamond Shield certification means a technician has been trained to our standard: RV-specific techniques, proper surface prep, precision cutting, and the kind of attention to detail that a 40-foot rig demands.

Technician timing and travel charges may vary.

Our network spans the US and Canada, making Diamond Shield one of the largest certified RV PPF installation networks in North America. Whether you're scheduling in Rochester, Elkhart, or somewhere in between, we have a technician who knows what they're doing.

What Can Be Protected?

Diamond Shield PPF can be applied to virtually any painted surface on your RV. Most customers start with the areas that take the most road abuse and expand coverage from there based on how they use the rig and how much protection they want.

Common Coverage Areas:

  • Nose cap and front cap

  • Hood and front fascia

  • Full or partial sidewalls

  • Slide-out faces

  • Wheel well arches

  • Rear cap

  • Entry steps and door edges

  • Custom areas as requested
